Happy 21st Birthday Taylor Swift (December 13th 1989)

I don’t even know where to start with how to explain how much I love this woman. I love her! Taylor really started making me love and appreciate music. Not just because her songs were so beautiful, but because they have a meaning. Unlike a lot of artists, she writes all her songs, which makes them so much more personal and I feel like I’ve gotten to know so much more about Taylor through her songs. I believe a Taylor Swift will relate to you in some point in your life, whether you’re 8 or 19.

Taylor’s taught me a lot about life and love. Love is something that can’t be rushed, and it’s not perfect and Prince Charming isn’t easy to find. I’ve also realized that having a boyfriend isn’t the most important thing in life. I’ve also realized that it’s okay to be different. For example if you like different types of music, you shouldn’t feel embarrassed by that, but you should embrace your love for it. My friends don’t listen to Taylor, in fact a lot of them don’t even like her, and won’t take the time to listen to a single song of hers, but I carried on listening to her and ignoring their insults and what they say. I’m lucky to be a fan of Taylors, because now I have such a better view on life, and not only that, but I’ve found people that love her as much as I do. When I saw her in concert, I knew I was in a room full of people that are proud to say they still believe in love stories, happy endings, and prince charming, and that they are fearless enough to believe that one day, things can change.

I thank Taylor everyday for being such a great role model. I’m so glad she’s kept up a clean image and I do believe she can still keep it up now that she’s turning 21. She’s an intelligent, young woman with so much ahead of her, and I couldn’t be more proud to say that I will always be a Taylor Swift fan, and I will never forget how much she’s made an impact on my life.
